Forget over-engineered, tedious processes with lots of red tape.

Let's just build software.

We follow a 5-step process:

1

Understand your business & get an idea if we're "right" for each other (tech-wise)

Let's explore your project and understand your overall vision. Once we have an idea of what you wish to achieve, we will assess if QSoft have the technology and skills in order to deliver your project.

2

Two week FREE consultaion - create wireframes & start visualising your product

This is where we sit down, get a coffee, and walk through your project. Front-end design and user jouneys, back-end architecture and the various implementation choices, are all discussed in open and frank discussions. This could be face-to-face at your site (preffered), or a series of remote meetings also.

Neither party has any commitments at this stage and at the end, there is no compulsion to continue further.

3

Once we all agree on "what" needs to be built, we present you with a guide price (£)

The price depends on how well your consultation phase went:

  • The wireframes/specifications are "final" and need no further updates, there are no unknowns, & little chances of requirements changing.

In this case, we can present a cost which incorporates development work and timelines
E.g. "The work will require 2 developers & 1 tester, and take us roughly 6 weeks, making a total cost of £XX".

  • Little/no wireframes created, Specifications are still evolving, and we all feel more time is needed to fully understand the project.

In this case, we will present a daily consultancy charge (assuming you wish to continue the consultancy phase we began).

Either way, you will have a good enough idea on costs for you to make an informed decision based on your budget.

Project Sign-off and Kick-Off!

"Agree" to the agreements, dot the i's and cross the t's. Lets get building!

Handover

A full and complete handover of our development is paramount for you to continue supporting the product. This is usually in the form of documentation and/or system diagrams.
